About the author

I’m originally from Crown Point, Ind., located about an hour outside of Chicago. I moved to the D.C. area in 2001 after finishing my undergraduate studies at Indiana University Bloomington.

I’m a web developer at Georgetown University’s Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship (CNDLS) and a graduate student in the Communication, Culture & Technology program, also at Georgetown.

Aly and I live in Arlington, Va.
